Period is due - have bit of brown discharge.

Is this normal ? Could it be old blood ??

yes, this is very normal. i have asked my gynecologist the same question, and he said it is very normal. it can be old blood.
when your uterus starts shedding its lining every month, the milky brown discharge is your uterus getting rid of the old lining that your revious period might not have gotten rid of totally.

Yeah its normal, i get that sometimes right before i start my period. I think that its kind of like old blood, maybe a little bit of blood comes down and it just stays in your system for a day and comes out brown.

Yes, it's quite normal. Quite often you will get a brown discharge "warning" before your actual period starts.

Yes it is normal. This happens to me when my period is on its way, and then when it is ending.
