? Dont you think it was all a bit over the top? From last night episode it all sounded worse than it actually was.

What are your views on this, and also all the things about Carphone Warehouse pulling out of sponsering the program and Jade's purfume being taken off store shelfs?

I hate racism as much as the next man BUT, I also hate boring television. Call me ignorant but 'Big Brother' is entertaining to me at the moment. The programme is shocking, disgusting and makes me feel extremely talented. Naturally, this will make me watch it more to remind me how bright I am.

So I will not be switching over!

i think it is ridiculous. The Carphone Warehouse should be embarassed at themselves for doing such a stupid thing, they got so much publicity from the show! The whole racismness just does not exist in the house! It is more bullying than racism, so if Jade and the others are racist then i would say Shilpa is aswel! I didn't know that jade's perfume has been taken off the shelves, that is also just plain stupid.

On the episodes I have seen I have seen no racism.
Shilpa said they were racist as they mimicked her accent, however, I saw her the previous day taking the mickey out of the way Jade said "Whale".
As a white girl, if I am in a group situation with other whites and other races I would probably not even notice what colour or race anybody was. However if I was in a situation where I was the only white I may feel out of place and more consious of my colour, which could lead me to think that people were acting against my colour when they had not even thought about it. Hope that makes sense.
The clash of personalities and background is no worse than we have seen in previous series of Big Brother, however, because the race issue has been brought up it has been blown out of all proportion.
Personally I feel sorry for Jade, Danielle and Jo who have all now been branded racist bullies, when in actual fact they have only reacted to Shilpa's behaviour in a cooking pot environment.

I think the whole thing is in danger of being blown out of all proportion. You really would think that the government had bigger fish to fry. Quite frankly, Big Brother in my opinion is a heap of drivel which only sad people waste their time watching. Makes me wonder about the level of intelligence in such types. Frankly, Jade Goody ("Baddie" more like) is an over-exposed, gobby little strumpet who has never done a decent day's work in her life, and who has a face like a bulldog licking p*** off a stinging nettle.
As for Jo o Meara (or whatever her name is), she is a washed-up failure of a so-called pop star who sang crappy tunes with six other dipsticks.

Ken Russell was right to walk out of the show. His assessment of Jade was spot-on. She is a total guttersnipe, and that mother of hers is no better.

As for Shilpa Shetty, she is far prettier and much more talented than those bitches in the Big Brother house. I think their attitudes are not racially motivated, it's all just petty jealousy. She's got it, they haven't.

It's not racism. Simple as that. I say good on Jade for standing up to Shilpa who clearly thought she could lie and control Jade and get away with it. I am not a racist person but I do hope Shilpa get voted out of Big Brother. Its ridiculous about carphone warhouse and the perfume shop. They probaly just don't want the bad publicity.

the fact that what happened was labelld as racism is just odd coz an indian was involved.its really ironic coz don't indians have the caste system back home?hellloo they invented it.so why are they complaining? and anyway what has shilpa shetty done for her country to make this such a huge issue for everyone to talk about ? the caste system in india is still very prevalent today and the fact that all indians want to be fair skinned just proves what they think of dark skinned people. if a brit had gone to india for a similar show, she would have been treated the same,if not worse.i think then, it would really turn out to be a racism issue.so what are they complaining about?

I think it is big deal, particularly when this is a national program slowly becoming an international program. It is not acceptable to show racists behavior without consequences. Jade is getting what she deserves. I don't blame retailers for not wanting to associate with someone like Jade.

I'm shocked but I must admit the headlines that have made their way to the States, have made me more interested in UK racial relationships and the show.

I think I have viewed every tidbit on youtube.
