Jade Goody and all the others on Big Brother!
Its seems to be thick, badly spoken idiots are the new leaders to a large section of our society. Reminds me of the truant types back in school. I suppose a lot of people like to be lazy - unfortunately there are ways to make money from it these days.
Too many weak people in the UK .If you dont like these comments maybe you are one of them!

Duisend-poot - what you describe IS the travesty and the problem. Why should someone thick like Jade make all that money - she doesnt deserve it. Millions of people slave away for a crust while she talks like a filthy uneducated moron raking in millions of pounds. I dont like her cause she is proud of being uneducated and thats not a role model to anyone.

I watch Big Brother sometimes as my girlfriend does. I watch it in jaw dropped amazement at how embarrassing Jade etc are.
There is a lot wrong in Western Culture if Jade Goody is a millionaire!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU.
As Jermaine says "YOU CANT MIX CLASS WITH NO CLASS"
i hope they all get booed when they come out of the house.

It's completely awful. They are the most repulsive people. The ones with the biggest gobs seem to be the ones with nothing worth saying. They have no manners and no self-respect. Apparently CBB has had wide exposure in India, where Shilpa is a big star, & they are horrified at (quote) British People. Great.
What worries me is that Jade & co are going to be passing their ignorance and boorishness on to their children, the next generation.
As to us being weak, it comes from our desire to 'live and let live', to be tolerant. We turn a blind eye. This behaviour backfires when the chavs' views get so much exposure, as here. I don't know the answer. My Mum would say 'Bring back National Service'! To teach them, among other things, self-respect.

I have reached the age of 48,i find the uneducated and uncouth are the norm in my everyday life. i also played truant and was very unruly dury my teens . my parents hated me and i hated every else.i left school with no qualifications.but i was never an unmarried mother, i have always worked, had two children, who where planned, however, my marriage only lasted 23 years . i would have liked to have been married for the rest of my life , but when you cant meet each other half way and compromise no longer works.its time to call it quits. Despite whatever has come up in life i have never been lazy or thick or badly spoken.i some times think if i could be lazy or badly spoken and foulmouthed i may have had a different life, but i can only be me.

Yes, I think the current "celebrity craze" is a tad ridiculous. Fair enough if they're famous for a reason (professional athletes, good actors, talented presenters...), but in my book "I was on Big Brother" or "I slept with David Beckham" are not legitimate claims to fame. It appears that some people need to live vicariously through gossip, heresay and news of other people's lives. Perhaps their own lives truly are that boring.
Don't watch Big Brother or similar rubbish, read trashy magazines or newspapers and you'll avoid them for the most part.

M y daughter and a friend of mines son are both teachers and despair at the recent role models thrown up by TV and sport. How do you persuade a child to get an education when a girl with no education can be worth millions and a sportsman who struggles to string together a sentence can marry a blow up doll and retire at thirty one still earning millions?

Hopefully, they have shot themselves in the foot by behaving so badly.
Let's celebrate the better people in this country, of which there are very many and not stupid ignorant no-hopers like these appalling people.

They may be weak but they have lots of money. Money counts, believe it or not. I wish i had their money and personally i think that is why so many people are so mean to Jade Goody, she made it good in a world where only beauty, looks, the shape of your body and no brains count. Good luck to her.
