Labia Minora is the proper word for them, and no size doesn't mean anyting at all- and it doesn't matter what size they are or is ones smaller then the other ect.
Why would you want them removed, I mean, they are there to protect your vagina from germs and stuff; but yes, I once saw on a plastic surgery show someone having them cut shorter, for some unknown reason!
Don't worry about them though you don't want to pay money for plastic surgery that nobody cares about!

Well, there are the Labia Majoras (the big lips that are up against your thighs) and then there are the Labia Minoras (the small lips that hang between the Labia Majoras and vaginal area). Both come in all shapes and sizes. Also, as far as I know, yes you can have a surgical procedure done to remove both lips so that the surface around the vaginal area is smooth and flat. I also have seen pictures of women getting their clitoris removed and then the doctor removing the lips and covering the area (including the urethra) and leaving a small hole for the vagina.
I have a masturbation tip if you have medium sized Labia Minoras: Try rubbing one lip at a time over your clitoris. This gets the clitoris aroused enough so that you start to come. This is great if you are dry at first and want to use only your lubrication. The lips, as far as I know are naturally moist so that is a benefit.
I hope this helps. Good luck in whatever you do.

Jake S is correct but not only is there the Labia Majora and Labia Minora, there is also the clitorious skin and urethra meatus(or opening to your bladder).
Though each woman looks somewhat different, they are basically the same.
I doubt that size has much to do with things except for possibly the size of the "clit". . . in some instances I would suppose the larger the "clit" the more pleasure your partner could give you in foreplay and sex.
In some countries it would be normal protocol to remove some of the female genitalia but in this country it is basically unheard of.
In rare instances it is medically necessary to have some minor surgical intervention for medical abnormalities.IF you are convinced that this is your case, talk with your gynocologist.

Labia Majora is your outer lips and Labia Minora is your inner lips. I am a pre-med student. Don't worry if I am not a female.

It's the way they are supposed to be and they DO vary in size. You do NOT want to remove them. They are your labia. Size means nothing.
