search for a new one in hopes to find something better and at the time that you are still looking for a new job just remind yourself why you have the job, why you got the job, what would happen if you lost the job, and couldn't find another one.

What is your job?? The only thing I know how to keep you being motivated when it comes to what you do for a living. Is to enjoy what you do. Due to my experience, if you don't enjoy what you do, then you dread getting up in the Morning's to go to a Job that has no Motivation for you. And then you just end up watching the clock all day.
Good Luck

I get paid to attend and write about sporting events, so I am generally always motivated. I do hate going to cover junior high volleyball games though. :~s I guess every job has it's downfall. That's why they call it a job. If you're unhappy more than you are happy at work, then it's time to seek another job. Good luck to ya!

Start looking for a different job. I too was unmotivated in my last job and finally got fed up and didn't go back. Would have been nice to find a different job first.

It's difficult, I've had a few jobs like that. I think you need to figure out your passion, and find a job or career that fits it.
