Around here you CAN...You would have to pay an out of district fee but you could go to another High School if you wanted to..Call your local school board office and ask them..ss

Where I am, you'd have to use a fake address. It's hard enough getting out of the school you're assigned to within that district (depends on the district, but it usually involves requesting a waiver or transfer).

I live in Alabama and you can only go out of your zone if the grading for your zone is low. For many years this has been a big thing here. People even got put out of school because they were not in their zone. I guess it depends on where you live.

ONLY IF THE HIGHSCHOOL IN YOUR DISTRICT IS FULL AND THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE THEN TO SEND YOU TO ANOTHER HIGHSCHOOL IN ANOTHER DISTRICT.
