If you're in a keeper league, it's a no brainer, take howard. O'neal's chronic injuries make this a no brainer. Production wise, o'neal's slightly better, but howard's just startin to come into his offensive game.

I agree with other users...take the trade and get Howard especially if it's a keeper league. Jermaine is having a great season, but Howard is still young and is developing like crazy. Do it before the other guy realizes the error of his ways.

Yes Jermaine O'Neal has proved himself as a bonfided low post man in the League. But his team is still losing and his time is running out. But Dwight Howard is a rising star with MAJOR potential, I say TRADE!!

The other manager wants to win now, and is thinking Jermaine's stats can help him or that the Golden State trade's gonna make him stop whining about a trade and knuckle down even so far as to play hard and to play through minor injury. I wouldn't agree with him tho. In a keeper league, unless you've already committed to winning this year, take the trade. Heck, even if you have decided to push for it this year, you still might want to do it.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME... That is a great trade. Oniel is getting hurt all the time and he is a good BB player but Howard is just a Pnt/board/block monster. He gets so many double doubles and will get you the same ammount of blocks as Jermaine. Go with Howard. (hell yahoo ranks him higher)

Keepers from two years ago:
Nash
J.O.
Redd
Traded D.Howard in that season for R.Artest.My worst trade to date. I could only keep three players that season ,but I should have held onto D.Howard a bit longer.

o'neal is better for about 3 to 4 years... it depends what other potential keepers you have, though. if your team is getting old, make the deal... if you have a few good young players (anyone drafted in last 5 years - stoudemire, howard, james, okafor, wade, morrison, etc.) then don't take the deal.

Howard is only going to get better. His numbers are consistently steady and rising. You should take the trade.

It depends on your total blocks. Howard has outdone O'neal rebounding, but O'neal has better scoring, and his blocks are at his career high. I would not do it, because, despite his injuries, with jackson and harrington gone, he is their only proven scorer, so he will get better now.
