Why am I not getting HIRED!!?

Question

I live in NYC, have very strong sales background and have done administrative work for directors of companies.....why if my resume looks great, I go on dozens of interviews, and very confident, am not asking for more money then is expected, am I not getting hired, I need to get out of the sales enviroment....I cant take it anymore.....I want to go back to being an administrative assistant with one boss and common goals, IM SICK OFF CATTINESS. Does anyone need and admin assistant?

I look very presentable, I have even thought that maybe interviewers feel that even though I dress in a very professional manner I might be a distraction to men....I am also very confident I have also thought that maybe I should start "acting" nervous in interviews.

Does the typing on your resume resemble your typing on here? I spotted 5 mistakes right off the bat. Some employers are very picky.

i would say try. but again its frustating at times when people go on physical appearance. You have strong sales and admin exp, but what you think is good may not be good enuff. I guess you can try reviewing your skill set and resume, the trying again. Sales is tuff but not impossible. all the best.

just keep on trying. like they say, the hardest job is looking for a job. i had that problem this summer, but dont worry the right one will come around. obviously if you didnt get hired at a place, it wasnt meant to be right?!

Don't take this the wrong way.

But how do you look?
Sometimes, sadly but true nonetheless, it is all in how we present outselves physically.
Maybe it is something as simple as this.

PLEASE REALIZE THAT THE NEW YEAR JUST STARTED AND PEOPLE WILL START CALLING NOW BUT TRY A TEMP AGENCY THEN U CAN JUST WAIT FOR THEM TO CALL U MAKE IT EASIER ON U THE WEATHER IS CHANGING AND THE JOB MARKET IS HARD AS IT IS
