Yeah...its a bit creepy. I know that Anime-Insider had an article about it where this one guy goes to several different anime conventions dressed in a salior outfit. It's creepy from the pictures I've seen ><

And yet nothing trumps watching an African man dress up as Kagome from Inuyasha (word was he REALLY liked the skirt) and his friend who was also originally from Africa cosplayed as Sango. (Imagine a slightly muscular guy in a bodysuit with a large Hiraikotsu with a yakki ponytail weave. ROFL)
I say as long as they're not interested in showing kids where the outfit is "chaffing them", then what's the problem?? And it's things like that which make me realize that my life is NO HOW MONOTONOUS WHATSOEVER. It brings a smile to my face

Don't know if that's true or not - but I wouldn't be surprised...
The Manga crowd is pretty, uh, different...
A co-worker of mine some years ago was a fan - we were at Fry's Electronics, and he wanted to check out the titles... there was some really warped stuff there - lots of little girls in skimpy outfits...
Don't really get the whole thing...

They were probably dressing up as manga characters which is called 'cosplay' I have even seen men dressed up as characters from Sailor moon in the past.

ahh yes they DOO!! its so freaky i mean you go and waste so much money on outfits that make u look stupid! ahh but oh its fun to look and i guess its hilarious to go around looking like that. ah but anime conventions are really cool either way around!!
