Yes I totally agree with you! Just like BET (Black Entertainment Television) What if there was a WET (White Entertainment Television this would all cause riots everywhere.
I used to attend almost all black schools I have plenty of black friends...
White people are not the only ones who are racist look at the comments some of you leave because someone asks a question. I def. do not see this question as any kind of racist questions. But now tell me this, I work 2 jobs and my mom is a single mother who does not make much money at all but I still cant get financial aid. If there is a black person in the same predicament who wants to go to college, who is going to get the scholarship first? Not me, because I am not a minority? Is that fair?
Slavery is over, we did not do those things our ancestors did. So why take it out on us for what they did? Just to have another excuse?

What people fail to understand about the term Black college is that what it means is Black founded college.
In the United States no college receiving government subsidies can discriminate because of color, race, gender, national origin, etc. A private college can set whatever criteria it likes for admission, that's why they are private.
The United ***** college Fund is just that, a fund put together by Black people to help black people who can't afford to go to college on their own. There are dozens of funds for "white" folks, they just don't put the word white in the title. The Native Americans have one, Hispanics have one, there are several Jewish college funds, what's the big deal about helping your people if no one else will?

That was because those colleges were started in an era where the other colleges were already white only. Maybe today we could use a few white-only colleges, but in the early days, the black-only colleges were created as an answer to all the white-only colleges.

Probably not when those colleges and funds were started when it was AGAINST the Law/life threatening for blacks to obtain education. Why are you worried about it in the 1st place? Doesn't effect you in the least! And back then, it was the other way around, and guess what? It wasn't considered racist, it was the American Way....anything else?

that's relaxing how some everybody is under the concept that racism is totally ineffective and black human beings do not choose UNCF or the NAACP or any of the different businesses geared in the direction of blacks. on no account techniques that throughout the time of usa of america there are neighborhoods that have no blacks or different minorities in them besides as finished cities and no person is crying foul for that. additionally on the recent time that's not uncommon for an African American to stroll off while not having a loan from a financial business enterprise for education.

Are you people really serious? Helloooooo the ******* world is completely run by WHITE PEOPLE. You are the ones that felt like non-white people weren't good enough to attend your schools or eat at your restaurants and now that other races have their own **** you're complaining?!?!? Get a grip! It was the other way around and it was considered racist and that's why we have our own ****. If you weren't so damn selfish to begin with these things wouldn't be necessary but they are so blame yourself or get the hell over it.

Blacks were'nt allowed in the other colleges,so they had to make their own,those colleges are attended by people other than Blacks also.

What is up with EVERYBODY on here being racist? , and yes, it is fair. no, it wouldnt be concidered racist. Most other colleges only have white people, and barely any african-american. makes me ashamed to be white.
its cuz we treated them like S**t. they deserve it. Why should you care? you have nothing to do with anything! most of MTV and VH1 have all white people running things. you dont HAVE to watch BET, you just chose to. Its your fault.
