All these guys in my office complain about their wives complaining to them about World Of Warcraft. The wives call themselves Warcraft Widows or WoW Widows. I can see why the wives get irritated. Ever since that expansion pack came out and even before, these dudes at work just go on and on and on about WoW. It irritates the crap out of me. Anyone else heard of WoW widows or sick of hearing about WoW?

Here is a cool article about WoW addicts:

The article was great, by the way.

I was a WoW widow until one day, I just sat down next to my husband and said, "so how do you play this?" Six months later, I'm a level 55 Shaman, he's a level 60 Warrior and we are looking forward to reaching level 70 (thanks to the Expansion) together.

It is seriously addicting though, and I don't know why. Now, even when I dream, I dream about WoW.

I had a couple of friends who said they were WoW widows and I asked them if they had tried it themselves. When they said no, I told them to make an attempt to see what it was all about. Every one of them now has a schedule with their husbands, just like I do with mine, as to who gets the computer to play WoW at what time. We all have made sure that we get equal time to play, but we also make REAL sure that we have time to spend with spouses, children, family, and friends outside the game. I freely admit that I'm hooked. Blizzard is set to take over the world and I'm happy to let them! So long as it doesn't interfere with MY time on the computer!!
