To begin with I don’t think there’s anything wrong or to be surprised about with you wanting to be a homemaker, if that’s what you love doing and who said anything about education going to waste rather it will help in honing your skills that much better in life, on the contrary I feel you are indeed brave to make such a remark.
You’re not an exception, most woman still want a strong provider that would protect them, but when we, men, want a woman that nurtures us, they get all up in arms.
Anyways, it’s not all that difficult to find a man who will share your views and then be happy and have a wonderful married life.

i believe that being a homemaker is the best job i love it!!!!
understand that there is a difference between staying home to sit around and watch tv and eat, and really making a home, i cook clean fix stuff around the house take out the garbage etc.... for what seems like an unapprieciated effort right now, but i know when my kids grow up they will appreciate because i really appreciated it because my mom stayed home. you may not use your degree now but one day your kids will grow up and your husband will be working and you might decide to use it later. plus there is noting wrong with wanting to be smarter!! it can help you teach your children as well.

There's nothing weird about that. In fact, a friend of my mom's has a daughter with a PhD in a science field that doesn't work. She's a stay at home mom. It is totally your decision and don't feel that you're obligated to work because you've spent big $$$ on a Master's.

Honey, there is nothing wrong with it at all and dont feel stupid. I went to college for myself and wanted to succeed in the business world. But, you know things change. I have reached my goals and now i want to stay home with my lil ones and enjoy them growing up. My hubby works and as long as you can live comfortably - why not. go for it!!!

This is a bad side affect of feminism, they make women who want to be home makers feel bad. There is nothing wrong with it.

Some people get degrees simply for self actualization. As big of waste of money that is, its actually more common then youd think.
