All I can tell you is you should not be having sex until you have been cleared by the doctor after 2 weeks. I lost my baby when I was 6 months pregnant and had to get a D and E which is the same but more complicated. You also need to wait at least one period if not 2 to get pregnant again. Sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear.

If the bleeding stops the next day, it is a good sign. But you should refrain from sex at least 1 month. My doctor has advised me to try and conceive again 6 months later. During which, I took the supplements he recommended. Now I am 23 wks pregnant with a healthy boy. During a D & C procedure, the doctor will scrap till the embryo is detached and although you no longer experience pain, the area needs time to recover. Just like you have a deep cut on your finger. Your bleeding on the finger has stopped because you have no bleeding disorder but it doesn't mean it has healed. Sex and your next pregnancy can wait...Your uterine and cervix are thinner after the procedure and if you have a pregnancy too soon, it greatly increase your risk of a miscarriage because your body is too weak. Go visit and check with a reliable gynae. Otherwise, ask for a recommendation. Just FYI, my gynae is Dr. Lim Teck Chye from Tow Yung Clinic. Very experienced. Take care.

I had miscarriage 2 weeks ago, although did not have d and c. i bleed for 7 days then had intercourse and started bleeding again for 1 day. Bleeding has stoped but i dont feel right still.

My doctor said i should wait 1 period before trying again, although i will probably wait longer. He said that will reduce the risk of infection and reduce the risk of another miscarriage. If your still haveing pain go to doctors. If you have an infection you really need to get it sorted.
