I watched big brother after hearing about all the fuss it has created. I don't normally watch reality tv shows like BB as I think they are as far from reality as you can get. The media certainly has a lot to answer to. I can't stand Jade, she's rude and stupid, but the truth has certainly been bent! I looked into it simply so that I could pick on BB as being racist and causing problems. I set out to diss it. But after reading what the media has put out and seeing it all for real I can't agree that it is racist at all. I was most disappointed to discover that there was little more than arguements caused by immaturity! I haven't read anything that has actually been accurate in showing all the facts. It's a farce to create publicity and it has been turned into a freak show. I'm not agreeing with how Shilpa was treated as it was bullying and bullying should never be condoned in any form. But isn't setting up a protest a form of bullying, as much as burning effigys of BB makers is? I hope BB gets the plug pulled, as it is wasting space on the tv which could be used for more important things. However, it is a programme that a lot of people enjoy watching, so I won't be voting against it. Who am I to spoil other peoples enjoyment, simply because I don't like it! I don't like football, but I wouldn't even contemplate the idea of petitioning against it to be televised! It's unfair and impinges on freedom of speech and expression. At the end of the day it is only a show! You don't have to agree with every tiny thing that is said on tv and you certainly don't have to watch it. By not watching BB the ratings would drop and the show would get taken off air anyway! However, if you are happy to get wrapped up in fantasy land and read more into these shows than is actually there, then go ahead and vote against it. LOL!

The 'Banter' in the house in nothing more then girls being girls.. it's classic play ground tactics. They aren't being racist they are just picking on the things that make Shilpa an easy target. I don't think Shilpa is as innocent as her supporters would like to think and certain Media bodies have edited what Jade said to her regarding "going back to the slums" what she really said was much different and she implied Shilpa should go into her community and meet the people who look up to her and stop being snobbish.

In all everyone is so worried about being P.C and it's well and good laying the blame with white people but Black, Asian,Green or Blue... Everyone make remarks in jest or to hurt someone. no one is innocent.

No not signing anything, I think the Indians make huge fuss over this bollywood actress. She playing poor victim atc, and has her head in he air. I don't think Channel 4 should stop just because a few Indians don't like it. What about freedom of speech?
