had a dui in sc what steps do i take?

i received my first and last dui a week ago my court date is in 3 weeks am i supposed to go ahead and file for my sr-22 or wait until after i go to court? what about the alcohol abuse classes do i have to wait until after court to start that as well or what. what should i do?

For SR-22 form, you'll have to wait until the final disposition of your case before the Secretary of State gets any info on you. AS far as classes, you can make contact with the agency that provides the class, but I would wait until the court hands down your sentence. They will most likely require an evaluation by that agency. If you do contact the class provider and tell them your situation, they may go ahead and schedule you in for a future class. If there's a waiting list, they may be able to put you on it now so you don't have to wait as long before beginning your class.
