well, your issue isn't about pony tails but rather the narrow mindedness of this dude... Trust me, you are looking for nothing but trouble with this guy and I would move on now if I was you.

I think that hes opinion should matter to you. If you feel that you are comfortable when you are around the house, cleaning or exercising then its cool. If you are going to work, to the store or going out with him you should fix your hair wear it down curl it up or flat iron it make it look sassy and girlie. Hes telling you what he likes just make him happy. once in a while at least he notices you and is trying to make you look better.

You should never allow anyone (man or women)to try and control you.You should wear your hair whatever way makes you happy and feel good.Be proud of who you are and don't let anyone try to change you.You are not an object you area human being and you deserve to be treated as such.good luck.
