Happy 30th Birthday!!

well i can see why you'd be having trouble...what are you gonna say? "wow, you've finally hit that age where you've got wrinkles round your eyes!" or "the big 30...man, you're old!" i hope i'm not depressing you or anything, it's just that i can understand how hard it would be to write a 30th birthday card (but it's probably even harder to receive it!). maybe you should say something like: "happy birthay, and this year you really are another year wiser..." or "congratulations, you're oficially a grown-up. now you can live completely by your own rules and leave the toilet seat up whenever you want!" say something funny or kind...the person's probably a bit scared about turning 30...

(sorry if you just wanted a simple answer, but i tend to overanalyse things).

Happy 40th Birthday for 10 years time!

I dont think 'sukis' has quite got the hang of this greeting card thing. I suppose I have the same frame of mind, I just realise its one of those 'need to do' things. I usually go into a greeting card shop and grab the nearest thing to hand, scribble 'Happy Birthday' or whatever and get it posted off.
My Brother was not at all pleased to get my card which had 'I love you Grandma', emblazoned on the front!
Hope this helps??

Don't think of it as your 30th Birthday... It's really the 10th Anniversary of your 20th!

well i see it like this.... the flirty 30's and the naughty 40's so make up a poem about being flirty at 30....make it a fun card, something that will make that person smile...being 30 is another milestone, soon enough you'll be writing out a card for 40.....it goes fast, make it fun

I used to work with a woman who, regardless of the occasion, would only ever write, "sod off" in a card. Oh, how we used to chuckle.
