verify your transmission fluid point. It became truly uncomplicated for upkeep techs on those Saturns to mistakenly drain the transmission, somewhat than the engine, whilst doing an oil replace. the clarification in the back of it truly is a mix of inexperience, besides as ,once you're under that vehicle and searching up on the engine and transmission, your transmission takes a filter out that looks precisely like an oil filter out. I even have seen many many typical provider techs see the filter out on the transmission factor and assume it truly is the engine, and pull the drainplug on the transmission. The oil filter out is definitely hidden above the force axle, and is somewhat small. it incredibly is maximum in all danger, somebody pulled the incorrect drainplug, and somewhat than fess up, they placed the plug lower back in and despatched you on your way. If it isn't the case, AAMCO starts off at approximately 1783.00 for a base overhaul, and from there, relies upon on what stressful areas could desire to get replaced. often finally ends up around 2500.00 with a three 3 hundred and sixty 5 days/50k guarantee. i could verify the transmission fluid point until eventually now utilising it, and likewise call the keep that replaced your oil. i think of your concern would be fastened with some quarts of transmission fluid.

you may have to buy a special funnel, but when you add fluid, you put it in the same whole where the dipstick goes.
