why does smoking weed make you hungry?

ive asked a lot of people why getting hi makes you hungry most of them didnt know but my friend tolc me cus its addicted to fat but he was hi and i want to kno really why so wen i am hi i can stop my self from eating so i dont get fat.... but food is really really delicious wen im high!

I was told that it had something to do with the fat in your body. I tried looking it up online but nothing really came up. But, I also get SUPER hungry when im high. good food just tastes better.
