Cricket is widely accepted sport in our nation. You asked a good question. My simple answer for you question is the same way how PHL matchs are going on. Every Indian state can make a cricket team , lets play domestic matchs and sort best from it. Let public decide who is best not selectors.

Think about the formation of players that is most suited to the Indian teams strength like play two specialized spinners and three fast bowlers. Of whom at least one should be an all rounder.

present our selecters are politicaly selected so they have no much responsibility they prefer thier interst not giving importance to the tallent of a player. first we change that systems. we appoint a group if selectors officialy. by this they become responsible on the play of the players that make them to select the best player in our team that will be a chance to new comers
if the selectors failed make a good team thier chance wiil miss and give a penality

its the best ive seen this team perform in years! 1 test match win in south africa is equal to winning the world cup ( or close ).
leave em as is, ill still put my money on them when they are playing against, zimbabwe , bangladesh, kenya, holland, bermuda, scotland, canada and even england.
