Does the nVidia GeForce Go 7400 on my HP laptop have dedicated graphics or shared?

It has dedicated graphics but the graphics memory is both dedicated and shared, it has 128MB of dedicated memory and if needed it will allocate a further 128MB from system RAM. Only the very latest games are going to need more than 128MB though.

I couldn't find that chip on HP's site, but it does use Turbocache technology, hence it is shared memory.

call hp they will tell you most graphics are shared with 1gb ram i cant see you having any problem go for 2 gb ram
