tell me why best answer gets 10 points

because the asker gets to choose whose answr he thinks best answered his question and if the asker can not decide then the answers are put to a vote and the voters choose. The 10 points is for taking the time to write the best answer.

the best answer is given to the person who tells the asker what they want to hear
