Bait with no hooks. Cute fish of the opposite sex. Clean healthy water to swim in. Plenty of room to swim around in. Tropical fish dream of warm water, temperate fish dream of cool water. Schools where they don't have to learn if they don't want to. Food that they don't have to fight over.
Nightmares are: Fish sandwiches, fish frys, people eating caviar, big fish eating them, being snagged by a hook, a big juicy worm with a rusty hook in it, laying on the floor and nobody notices, going more than two weeks without a partial water change.

my fish dreams of a nice big giant pellet that he could constantly nibble at. for a bad dream he dreams of the big giant green net taking him out of the tank and taking him to an unknown location.
oh yes......sometime after watching my TV that is opposite the tank he sometimes dreams of becoming an Aquarium Idol or the Aquarium Next Top Model. or going to Aquawood to become a starfish. (I think)

Actually, fish do sleep for all those people who said they dont. Maybe they dream about their next meal? At least thats what I think my Oscars dream about...they love to eat!

Fishies dream about other fishies and making little fishie babies and watching the fishie babies grow up and get fishie jobs and get married and have more fishie babies so that the fishie parents can have fishie grandfishies. :)
