it seems to me head coaches are always trying to prove themselves, and get constant scrutiny. everytime a new coach is fired or hired its news. meanwhile gms are hired, work forever and are rarely held accountable for their mistakes.

G.M.'s are traditionally business men, though much more these days they have football experience.

The best G.M.'s in the leagues these days are former scouts, coaches, and other key personal in football operations.

The worst G.M.'s are usually the owners who try to do it themselves and know jack-crap about football.

you start out on the fryer, making fries. then with a little hard work, u can move up to sandwiches, and if you are really lucky, then you can maybe get a spot on the register. thats where the big money starts. after that, u may get selected to go to ronald mcdonald university, then after graduation, shift manager, asst. manager, and 1 in 100,000 chance, but if really lucky, a g.m.
