Minimum wage increase - passed
Drug Prices bill - passed
Stem Cell bill - passed
Ethics reform - passed in the house, scuttled by republican minority in the senate by attempts to amend a line item veto onto this unrelated bill.
By the way, the 100hours refers to the first 100 hours of actual in session time, I'm assuming you don't work 100 shifts at your job either.

The Democrats had 6 items on their agenda for the first 100 hours of the new Congress. While their clock is still ticking, in that less than 100 hours of sessions regarding this agenda have elapsed, they have already passed 5 of the 6 on the list, and all with bipartisan support. It has been a rather surprising display of leadership and support for their agenda, and so far the House has passed bills on Increasing the Minimum Wage; Expand Stem Cell Research; Implement the 9/11 Commission Recommendations; Cut Interest Rates on Student Loans; and Negotiate for Lower Prescription Drug Prices. Still on the agenda is the debate to End Subsides for Big Oil and Invest in Renewable Energy.

Well, it all started with the Ohio State versus Florida BCS Championship game postponement of the first hours to begin...
Shrug...what did happen? Not much, they passed everything pretty much that they wanted to pass in the House. Unfortunately their majority in the senate is contingent on Independent Senators, so they can't just push stuff through. Realize though, if the senate and House do not pass these bills by at least a 2/3 vote...in all probability they will get vetoed.
The only ones that will go through are the Minimum Wage and Ethics Reforms...
The main problem we are facing as a nation is earmarking and NGOs...and the whole problem of the NeoConservatives led by McCain, Hagel, Warner and other big named Republicans, who are basically being posterboys for bipartisanship in the Media, when they should be the poster for Traitors and Turncoats...
If we could hang Colin Powell for Treason, the world would be a better place. I am so tired of hearing Democrats mention Colin Powell, McCain, Hagel and Warner...the Media pulls them like trump cards...get some new bullets Lefties, your brainwashing techniques only work if you spend a little cheddar to pay off about ten or fifteen more fence rider republicans or at least spend some time digging dirt. If you are going to lead, make sure you work on the dirt...the world will not be yours until you have fully corrupted your sense of pride and integrity and destroy your souls in the name of political gain.

They have modified the house from "The do nothing Congress" to "The do nothing Congress with lip service!" Tune in to C-span last night in the house on the floor a bunch of Democrats of which i also am as a voter, were babbling & praising each other for all the great feats they have accomplish! What a crock of Sh-- they do not have the most important issues to most Americans even addressed i.e. like poverty in USA & financial security for the legal citizens. Going after the Employers & landlords harboring illegals. Stopping all forms of immigration indefinitely etc etc! http://www.usbig.net/ This could replace welfare for the legal citizens.

The first 100 hours. Objectives all done. Objectives all accomplished. Thanks to the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. The only one that did not pass was Ethics reforms, that was stopped by Republicans who want to keep taking bribes in office at any cost. Even that loss was a win. Bush will veto anything good for America. Even his veto is a win. The Impeachment of Bush and Cheney is next on the agenda.

THEY ARE NOT IN CONTROL THANK GOD!!
Bush is still the President of the United States. The Dems have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO OFFER ANYWAY! It will take them more like 100 years to accomplish anything! They only reason the Dems are "empowered" at this time is because the war is unpopular, not because Bush has done anything wrong.

i'm rehashing what has been mentioned already, yet i assume that is outstanding if mentioned legislations have been easily signed into regulation; if it makes it previous the Senate, and that they are able to the two agree in a joint committee, they could nonetheless pass the table of the President. even along with his declare of a willingness to paintings with the different ingredient of the aisle, it is not probable in terms of legislations that's surely in opposition to the perspectives of his occasion. and that i've got self assurance it would be unwise to assume that a 2/3 majority in the two properties might ensue with a view to realize that magical override of a Presidential veto. what number circumstances has that befell in history: two times in keeping with possibility? it is inherently perplexing for a reason, i assume. those framers, boy did not they convey something particular on paper whilst they designed the workings of our government (subjects of franchise and equality aside)?

They did pass a couple, but nothing like they said they would do. Typical though. All talk and no show. They would rather sit around and debate about stuff so it makes the publice think they are actually doing something.

Feel free to read a newspaper sometime: minimum wage increase, prescription drug pricing, 9-11 commission ideas adopted, ethics reform, and budgets ignored by the last Congress are just a few of the issues tackled so far.
