If I have the money, I give it.
I never lend money.
It always finds it's own way home somehow. Freaky, but true.

Money is a the best way AND the worst way to test a friendship.
I always expect cash loans back as soon as possible.
You never know when it's YOU who ends up 'in a bind'.
If you don't get the money back within a few months, then you just spent $80 learning a very valuable lesson in life.......
You shouldn't have to keep asking / reminding her either.
Just think about what you would do if you were borrowing HER money. If you are a woman of your word, you have every reason to expect the same from those you trust.

Generally when something is "borrowed" that means that you'll get it back. If she asked to borrow 80 dollars from you then you can assume that she'll pay you back. Even if she is having money issues, it's still the polite thing for her to do. It doesn't mean she has to pay you this minute, but when her money situation is taken care of, then she should keep in mind that you lent her money and she owes you.

$5, maybe $10, no problem. But there had better be a really good reason for $80. Friendships are lost over money all the time...don't anticipate ever getting it back. If she doesn't offer to pay you back, don't loan her money again. Chalk it up as a mistake and put it behind you, if you really want to be friends with her.

Hello,
If she is really a friend and she is close to me, I will give her. but before I give her, I will ask her : When you can give it back? . Then, I will wait the time she said that she will give it back to me. If she late, I will give her more 2 weeks. Then, I will tell her that you untill now didn't give me the money. Be careful, there are many people think that we are crazy and will forget about money !! BE CAREFUL !.
Bye.

Give it to her to have, if you dont need the money in the long run, but if you know you might need it then ask for the money back and explain to her that you need it back for personal reasons, i think she would understand. If she looks like she can't give it back then let her have the money, It is better to give then receive

You should ask if she intends on paying you back. But you should always consider a loan to friends or family a gift. You'll probably never get it back. Learn the lesson ahd tell her you don't have it to lend next time.

When you loan someone money you should consider it a gift. Then if you get it back, you have have some extra money. But don't lend money that you can't afford to lose...unless it's a matter of life and death, so to speak.

if she's a good friend I would say give, but only if you can afford to...hopefully somewhere down the line she will help you out if you ever need it.
