Try the online store www.ferretdepot.com. They carry everything ferret for 1/2 the cost at a pet store. I believe that 8 in 1 and Marshall both have a flea shampoo. There is also a "flea mouse" for ferrets on the market. Keep in mind that if 1 ferret has fleas, the other two do as well. Also your whole house needs to be treated to kill any fleas inside as well. I am hoping that your ferrets live inside, as living outdoors is not a good way to keep and house a ferret. If you have any questions or need more help please feel free to e-mail me. Good luck.

You're keeping your ferrets outdoors? You really should keep them inside. Talk to your vet about flea control if there is a problem inside the house. You can use a kitten-safe flea shampoo. I used this after adopting one of my males out of a bad situation.

Go to the healthfood store and get Pennyroyal. Sprinkle this fragrant herb around your yard and along the edge of your house.

Shampoo your carpets.
Clean the animals bedding.
Shampoo the animal with "Puppy Flea Soap".

The hair will come back but if the animal developes a scratching habit, you can cone its head and isolate it from the others and put hydrocortozone cream (1%) on the itchies.

Good Luck!

Cheap mouthwash, like the cheapest kind you can get at the dollar store makes a great flea killer. Just don't use it if your ferret has a rash or sore places cuz it would sting like hell.

Check with the vet, but I think they can be treated with Advantage.

You will need to clean up the house and yard, his bedding, cage, etc.

I was told you can use cat shampoo on them. I did it to mine and it worked fine. He may also have adrenal disease, one of mine lost hair in the same places and it turned out to be her adrenals.
