Which races have set foot on the moon? The biological endowments of races are more important than which country sponsored a specific achievement. Russia is also a mostly White country, and, if they had not been led by an especially odious gang of parasitic racial chameleons, they might have beaten their American cousins to the moon.

Manned Moon Landings:
United States of America - Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17
First men on the moon :
Neil Armstrong and Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin on 07/20/1969.
Other men to set foot on the Moon:
Alan Bean and Pete Conrad (Apollo 12)
Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell (Apollo 14)
David Scott and Jim Irwin (Apollo 15)
John Young and Charles Duke (Apollo 16)
Eugene Cernan and Harrison 'Jack' Schmitt (Apollo 17)
Alan Shepard was the only original astronaut from the Mercury Program and was also the first American in Space.
A friend of one of parents had been and air force pilot for the Berlin Airlift. Because of this, he had a number of military connections and owned a small airport, he found himself once flying with Neil Armstrong in a small plane. After flying on instruments due to being an astronaut, apparently during landing approach, he asked where the airport was, looking down at his instruments. My parent's friend told him to look straight out the window, pointing - its right there. (No idea if that's true or not, but I like the story anyway)
Total men to have set foot on the moon: 12 (why does this number keep repeating itself in big ways through history? 12 Disciples, Magestic 12, 12 Knights of the Round Table, 12 Knights of Charlemagne, 12 Lunar Astronauts, etc.,...)
According to wikipedia, there were no manned lunar landing made by the USSR. However, the USSR (Luna Programa) had a number of unmanned missions before the United States sent maned missions.
So.... according to wikipedia, the only nation to have succeeded in landing men on the moon is the United States... Unless you believe it was a hoax filmed in a Hollywood studio.
Recommendation: See the movie - 'The Right Stuff' great film.
Jenab6 - The answer to your question is the HUMAN race has been the only race to set foot on the moon. I think you are simply looking to justify racism.

Just the United States. If the question had been what countries have had humans set foot on the Moon in the past 25 years, the answer would be that none have.

There are some serious doubts if anyone landed on moon at all. Russians are the first men to go to space, so Americans needed to take a lead and go to the moon (and back). So they say they did that, but there are some serious accusations that they fake it all. There are some videos that can be found on internet explaining why landing on the moon cannot be possible and what is wrong on that movies taken from moon. It is quite interesting really how politics interferes in everything.

The question should be, what country and not what countries had humans set foot on the moon? The answer is: only U.S.A. astronauts set foot on the moon!

ONLY the United States, so far. China will be next, around 2020. Russia has sent people into space, but not to the Moon.

Trick question-- none of them have. All the astronauts were wearing boots, so the soles of their feet never touched the surface. :)
