I wash my dish rags and dish towels seperatley from all other laundry. I wash them in hot water and use detergent and bleach. When they come out of the dryer they feel oily . Why is this happening? They didnt have any kind of oil on them when they went in the washer. My towels come out fine and all my other laundry does too. My washer is new and has never had anything oily washed in it.

Do you use liquid fabric softener?
The only thing I can think is that maybe the washcloths were used to wash a greasy pan or something, and then a product like Downy can leave grease stains on fabric if you use too much.

Instead of using fabric softner, try using white vinegar. It softens laundry without leaving a residue and is better for your laundry because it's natural.

try soaking them in just the bleach and then rinse them out really well. it could be that the bleach and detergent are not mixing well together
