My husband was more interested in work than sex, he couldn't find balance in his life to share it with me. We didnt have a sex life and I wanted to have an active sex life with my husband even if he wasnt the man I was married to. It wasnt that he didnt find me attractive he just didnt have balance.

I can only speak for myself, everyones reasons are different, but it seems like 95% of the time, one or both are cheating on each other. I was in the 5% that another party did not play into our Divorce. I was married 28 years to a Good man and Father, for the most part. The problem was the last 2 years we were together, he suffered with OCD. Unless you know something about this, you may not understand. It is an obsessive disorder, and it is Very hard to deal with. In my case it got to the point where I was not allowed to leave the house, without him. I had to wait until he got home before I could even go grocery Shopping. The house had to be **** and span, which was no problem because I hate an untidy house, BUT>>>> nothing could be moved around. I could not move a piece of furniture or picture, he would go Bonkers on me. His clothes had to be hung in his closet in a certain way and his food had to be cooked just right. Now I readd, he was NOT always like this. He was on medication and it only made matters worse. I knew that if I did not leave, I was gonna have a nervous breakdown. Being a Christian it was terribly hard for me to do this. But to answer your question, Sex is an important part of a relationship and it is a healthy way to show each other Love and a great stress reliever, but when you cross the line and cheat, you break the "trust" issue and that is really hard to get back.

I cheated on him, but its because he was a mean SOB and couldnt control his temper. The guy I have now...we started out having amazing sex and that has trickled down to the bare minimum so I have been flirting with some other guys. Sex on the brain is a tough situation!

15 yrs ago I would have said yes but, after marring a man with kids I would have to say I would never do it again.. My husband could still have children when I met him and we had 2...When we got to the subject of kids I was prepared to leave him thinking he would say he didn't want anymore but he said yes he wanted more kids so I stayed.. After our last kid he went and had a vasectomy. You just need to find someone mature who maybe already has had her own kids and is ready for a life of just hubby & wife.. Good Luck.

No, great sex was the only thing we had in common. The only bond we had. It wasn't enough.
