Well where I work we have this problem daily. I am a housekeeper at a Quality Inn. We have Mr. Clean Magic Erasers that we use on some rings. That works most of the time. If that wont get it off, try mixing bleach and water together and spraying it on the ring, wait a few minutes and try cleaning it off. Hope it works for you.

It copuld be that the enamel has eroded and there's no way to fix that with any kind of cleaning product. I do know that the home improvement stores carry lines of enamel spray specifically for the tub, sink areas. It's like a can of spray paint. If all else fails, try that and follow the directions, as you need to let it dry completely before using the tub, or it'll just flake right off and wash down the drain.

Good luck

I have been cleaning since I was 10 years old and now I'm 40. I have tried allof those things mentioned so far by the others and when there is a stubborn stain on porcelin or fiberglass tubs or toilets, nothing works better than CLR! If bleach can't cut it, then use CLR. You will be amazed!

The Mr. Eraser work the best. But if you have problems with that try a concentrated mixture of oxyclean or bamm

If it is hard water, try a scouring pumice stone. It can be found with toilet cleaners at your local supermarket. It works! TEST it in an inconspicuous spot to make sure that your surface will not show scratches. It is very abrasive.

Believe it or not, I've always had pretty good luck with the Dow scrubbing bubbles. The trick is to let them soak, then reapply before cleaning. Around 20 minutes of soaking before scrubbing does it for me.

Have you tried one of those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers? They take a little elbow grease, but work so well.
