i have two best friends, marilyn and caroline. but marilyn seems to hate caroline, and pulls me like a tug of war rope away from caroline. poor caroline cant do anything, she is scared of marilyn's bulling ways. so she fights with marilyn ALL the time over being with me! if i say something, marilyn gets offened and says excusee me?! in her little attitude. and caroline looks sad and stares at her own feet. i cant stand this anymore, HELP!

i was in the same 'triangle'. you should tell marilyn to bug off, because trust me girl, you are not worth it. Just hang out with caroline, because she is probably cooler. And if you dont like my answer, just make a solution, like... hang out with marilyn own day and caroline the next. But if you feel sorry for caroline, than just leave marilyn to find her one friends, because you and caroline will make a perfect match... TRUST ME! Just go up to marilyn and look her straight in the eye and say... If you want to be my friend, you are going to have to be nice to caroline to.(then stomp off.) I think this will give her a taste of her own medicine.

apparently marilyn cant handle your friendship with caroline and she is being very possessive and controling. she is also want exclusivity with you but I would take a moment to think about marilyn. do u relly want to be best friends with a person like this? and u seem to have a soft spot in ur heart for caroline. time to make a choice---good luck

How old are you three? If you are in your teens, then expect more of the same. If you are in your 30's or 40's, tell Marilyn to chill. So what if she gets offended? She doesn't seem to care that she offends the hell outta you and Caroline. I can't relate to 'Bullies' at all.

Something just like that happened to me. Except the other two in the triangle started hanging out together instead of all three of us. & then we would start talking behind each others back to the other person, etc., and then the person they said it about would get back to me and I would say something about them. It became like a friend war, all because one of the triangle friends was telling everyone what was said about them. So guess what, now i'm only friends with one of them, and it's the person that I wouldn't have chosen if I was to choose between them. So all you can do is be nice to them, treat each of them equally, & just try to get rid of the jealousy factor altogether.

if I were u, I would "break up" with marilyn! If she was your real friend...she would like your other friends, right? Or at least she wouldn't fight with them all the time!!! That's advice!
