All babies develop differently. As long as the doctor expresses no concern when an Ultrasound is conducted and the baby's measurements are taken, there's nothing to worry about. And being short isn't so bad...I'm only 5'1". Congratulations and good luck!

Around 6 - 8 inches. There's not set size. It's different for each baby. They are just giving their own estimates.

It depends on the person. Those website only give an APPROXIMATE....if you go back to the site there is usually a disclaimer somewhere on the page telling you that its only an average and that your baby may grow at a different rate or vary in size

those are just ballpark averages, the only way to know how big your baby really is, is from an ultrasound.
like babycenter.com says my baby should weigh just over a pound, and i had an ultrasound yesterday and the do said the baby weighs 1 lb 7 oz., so it's just a guess.

It really depends on how much weight you've been gaining, but it should be between 6 or 8 inches. Congrats!

all babies are different and if you look at a lot of sites you ll get lots of different answers. also was the baby measured from head to toe or head to bum on them sites ?
find a site you like then stick with that, then you wont get confused.
congratulations on baby
