Well besides the obvious wrongs, (cons) of hate crimes, there could be some pros to them as well. #1, police can use them to check out the area and see what they need to watch for, and protect people from. #2, naive people can wake up and smell the coffee and see what kind of world they are living in, to maybe change it for the better.

I see no PROS in hate crimes.
It may cause fear within the targeted individual, but it simply promotes hate. Whatever color or ethnicity a person is they are still human and hate crimes are not justifiable.
The disease of ignorance may never be cured.

There are not any pros of a hate crime. Hate crimes are ridiculous. And the people who commit them are pathetic and worthless to our community.

There are no pros at all..a hate crime is a horrible thing to go through.In the past because of hate crimes,new laws were made that made it a crime to bash people of different races and certain sexual orientation groups.I guess that's the only good thing that came from it.----------------rockstar has been reported

I wouldn't think any hate crimes have any pros to them.
The cons would be:
Not living and let live
Wasting energy by being negative
Going to jail
Hurting someone for selfish unneccessary reasons
Hating someone for not being able to pick their parents.
and many many more things

the pros of hate crimes is beatin up gays because gays are not a race though they think they are and many gay public officials think so too , which makes it more satisfying when you beat one up and get away with it.the cons is when you get caught for beating up a gay , natuarally,lol.
