I was due for my period 6 days ago. I did not have sex, but close genital contact (no penetration) on December 18th. My cycles are longer and my last one started on December 8th, so December 18th should have been long before I ovulated (average cycle length: 33-35 days). However, I'm still 6 days late if I had a 35 day cycle this month. I've taken numerous hpts with first morning urine since the day my period was due, all negative. I got a urine test from my doctor the day before I was due and it was negative. I also got a blood test on Tuesday from my doctor (I was four days late then) and it was negative. But I've read so much about women having false negative blood tests that I'm scared. My period still hasn't come and there's really no sign of it at all. I was cramping a little for a few days, but it stopped. Please help. I'm scared.

How old are you? Your age can play a huge factor in long menstrel cycles. My sister is 16 and gets a period maybe 5 times a year and the times that she gets them are all inconsistent. I was the same way when I was a teenager, I never really had a normal cycle until I was about 18. If the blood test that you took came back negative then you probably aren't pregnant.
Sometimes being stressed can also make your period come late. So my advice is to relax take a hot bubble bath and drink some red clover and chamomile tea (red clover will speed the process up of your cycle and chamomile will relax you)
Good luck and prayers!

Your probably not pregnant. Stop stressing and you should see your period. Also, weight change, change of diet, hormone imbalance and several other things can cause this. Go to the doctor to find out exactly why. False positives with blood test are highly unusual unless you test a week or 2 before your period.

Hi, I was just writing to tell you that you may have an irregular menstrual cycle. But there is always something else. The best advice that I can give you is call your doctor or your gynecologist and see if you can get an appointment and see why you haven't had you menstrual cycle yet. I have irregular periods all the time, but it could be something else. So please go and visit your doctor.

Don't be scared! You may have a problem somewhere. But I think everything will be alright! If this continues, and you do not have your period the times you usually do, then go to your doctor again and tell him that the pain and cramping has continued.

Your not pregnant. Your period has not come because you are freakin out about missing your period so its stressing your body out. You cant get pregnant like that. You would have to actually penetrate fully and he would have to ejaculate inside of you.
