This seems to be the new trend in my neighborhood. If the spouse wants to leave, why not leave the area? Same town, different area? Then you are in touch 5 or six times a week. Wierd to me. Do non-white people do this?

This is unusual but not unheard of. As long as they can all get along it will be better for the kids.

I agree, it is strange. I think people do this for a number of reasons: one might be because they want to keep tabs on who the ex may be inviting into the home, or maybe they don't drive or have much in the way of money and it is just convenient. I do not think that race has any bearing on this. As far as polygamy goes, no, they are not married anymore. If they are still seeing each other behind their new spouses back, well that would be adultery.

Why do you care?

This is the age of the nuclear family... Not much can be done about it when people are into instant gratification, selfish and greedy to the extent that they are these days. What do you expect?

I would however suggest that you mind your own business... No one likes a holier than thou, busy body.

Look what happened to the one on Desperate housewives!
