Got device?
Once your removable storage device [could be an external harddrive with USB connection] is connected and working you can use the native Windows XP backup tool at:

Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / Backup

Your external storage MAY also come with backup software which you can use.

Hi. Find the total amount of space you need and buy an external hard drive with more space than that. The download will take a little time because USB speeds are limited. (Use USB 2.0 if you have it.)

buy a 2 GB memory stick (around $35). Use your My Computer utility and copy your hard drive onto the memory stick.

just buy a removable harddisk. then connect it to your pc's usb. install the cd then after installing it will automatically appear on "My Computer". just drag the file you want to copy to your removable harddisk.
