That all depends on the person.
For the most part, Crossdressing is a form of gender expression through wearing the clothing designed for the opposite sex. Most Crossdressers so happen to be heterosexual. Others are homosexual.
But that does not mean that gay men are turned on by another man dressed in women's clothing as a rule. Generally it is a gay male that is crossdressed that excites another homosexual. But once again, that is not always the case.

There is a common, though not exactly technically correct, usage of a couple of terms. Commonly, heteros dressed in female clothing are getting a hetero fetish thrill from the clothes. Gay men are irrelevant to the crossdresser. Commonly expressed, transvestites are gay men in women's clothing who advertise which side of the coin they are on and they want gay men to be interested. Now a TG man might be either one for some men believe themselves inwardly a female, so those in the MTF camp could be looking for hetero men, not homo men, and likewise the homo men would be wanting a homo man, not a woman. Yet some homo men do the TG thing in hopes of attracting homo men, again sometimes finding the arrangement dissatisfying because the partner no longer has a male partner. The problem is, when considering a man in woman's clothing, is he: (1) a crossdressing hetero?; (2) a gay transvestite; (3) a practicing transgender; or (4) a vice cop in disguise? The latter two are the most problematic. BTW, Halloween and Mardi Gras add another element, crossdressing for a laugh, which can be a hoot when you pass.

Crossdressing is really a lot more about wearing clothes and fashion sense than being gay.

It's not for every gay man, but as a cross dresser I have personally found that quite a few gay men are turned on to guys who dress in women's clothes.

No.
i think gay male more turn on to a male. to masculinity.
because somehow they identify themself for more of female, rather than male. That's why they attarcted to Uniform, army, leather jacket, and anything which resembled masculinity.
Eventhough they may developed muscle to get a big body, but still inside they still think that they are a female traped in a male body.

certainly not ALL of them, a lot of gay men are attracted to men, not men dressed as women. but some gay men are into it, whatever floats your boat. and another point, crossdressing men are not always gay, there are plenty of heterosexual and bisexual men who just enjoy wearing women's clothing.

Not that I've heard of. Drag queens tend to be a part of the gay club scene, but they're not sexual turn-ons. When they're performing, they're just entertainment. When they're not, they're just characters; it's about fun, not sex or attraction.
