Where have YOU been?
I just finished it. I'm still reeling from Ron and Hermione's death.

She is still in the process of writing and/or making revisions to the manuscript. So, nothing is definite...
While many people have tossed around the 07-07-07 date, it has not been confirmed. Considering that she released the name of the 7th book on the Winter Solstice, it would seem as though this date would be important and fitting. Moreover, I *think* all the books have been released in July-- in time for Harry's Birthday at the end of the month.
Adding more fuel to the fire is the recent publication of the Baker & Taylor list. It is a publication for libraries and schools to order books. They have the date for HP&TDH as 07-13-07. This date is the same as the 5th installment of the movie series.
I think summer 2007 is going to be the year of Harry Potter...

While J.K. Rowling has not yet confirmed a street date for the seventh and final installment of her Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," there's speculation that 7-7-07 will be the release date, for symbolic reasons.

7/07/07 is merely speculation this has not been confirmed by Rowling or her Publishers. It seems like a perfect date which is why alot of books stores are saying its "confrimed" for this date but it is not confrimed.
OOTP came out June 21st 2003.

i think its comin out around the same time as the next movie, but i really dont care. even if i dont have the money i will pre-order mine.

Nobody really knows. Rumor has it that it will be during summer. I'm bitting my nails for it!!!!!
