what old newspapers should i use or is there any web pages that would hold this info

Maybe a telephone call to The Evening Times , Glasgow Hearld or maybe The Scotsman or Daily Record and ask if they have a reference library that you can look in , What about the Mitchel Library , I'm told they have newspapers on microfiche , you could maybe research from there . Hope this helps .
