Go to your OB-Gyn and get checked to see if you have the capability to conceive. There are plenty of over the counter ovulation monitors and pregnancy tests that you can purchase at Wal-Mart or Walgreens. People have said that timing is everything when trying to conceive and this may be true, however, it may be best to go get yourself checked.

Don't think to much about it and don't try too hard, because then you may prevent it from happen, like I did!!
Enjoy making love to your husband, but I will say you go to the Doctor and let him know you guys want to get pregnant and explain your concerns, so he may do a couple of test and see how are you both doing, and give you a few tricks!! But stay calm and positive, when you start having sex only to get pregnant it becomes a lot of stress and some kind of a rutine and it may take you longer than it should have!!
I did that and I had my little girl after 2 years of trying, and know that she will turn 2 and we have been marry for 6 years, I am pregnant again, not even trying and using condom!! so I was perfectly able to get pregnant , I was just trying to hard!!
BEST WISHES!!! and please go to your Doctor, and once you know everything is fine, then you can relax and wait for the good news to arrive!! Enjoy your husband for as long as you can !!GOOD LUCK

I was in the same boat as you exactly. Maybe you should have your thyroid checked. May not be it, but that was my problem. All my life I never knew I had a thyroid problem, then once I started taking the medicine I got pregnant. It was a surprise. We weren't even trying. Now it's been 2 and 1/2 yrs and I'm ready for baby no. 2 so I'm going to a fertlity clinic since I know I have the problem. Taking a pregnancy test on Sunday...........(fingers crossed)

Ask your gyno for advice, there is a way that you can tell if you are really ovulating, I wouldn't trust the otc stuff, like ovulation predictor kits, with something as important as this. I've had a similar situation (no protection, but no conception), my baby girl was conceived when I least expected it. =)

You didn't mention if you had regular periods or not. My best friend had really irregular periods due to PCOS. She and her boyfriend had unprotected sex for 4 1/2 years. She got on BC for 6 months to help the cyst problems, and first month she got off of BC, she got pregnant. I'd go to your obgyn and get a check up. Let them know your situation, they should be able to help you out. Good luck!
