i have had my swiss army for about 20 years and i sharpened it several times and now the blade is real deep in and you could break a fingernail getting the blade out

Well, normal wear-off is not covered by any guarantee in the world!
Why not go past an official shop and ask for advice? Perhaps they offer you a special discount on replacement or even could replace that single blade.

Sounds like you need to break down and buy a new knife...don't think normal sharpening is covered in the lifetime warranty.
