I never had kidney stones so I have to say labor. However, I have heard that kidney stones are the closest a man can get to the feeling of labor.

From what people have told me, a man with a kidney stone is about equal to a women in labor.

I can tell you I have had both. Labor wasnt nearly as bad as trying to get my kidney stones to pass. I had several of them and it hurt so much they had to give me morphine. To top it all off I was 6 months pregnant with my youngest child!

Don't get me wrong labor is no picnic either but I thought it was harder with the kidney stones.

Doctors claim the stones are worse than labor.

I have had them both, and I would rate them about equal. Kidney stones have a faster recuperation period and usually do not have other complications that can cause more pain Good question. col

my hubby had kidney stones a few years back.

I've never been through labor, but I hope I never have to see him or anyone endure that kind of pain again.

They gave him a morphine drip in the ER and he said it didn't help.
