I don't know, but I don't think it will anytime in our lifetimes. I think the human species will have gone extinct by the time the world ends. The only way I can think of the world ending will be the sun going out. There are a few ways this can happen.

1) It will begin to cool and when it does, it will turn red and expand. Even though it will be cool, it will still be warm enough to burn the earth into nothing as it expands into it.

2) It will run out of fuel and collapse, causing a black hole which will suck everything (including the earth) into it.

3) It will explode in a supernova and the earth will go along with it because it's so close.

Either way, our sun is middle-aged, so none of these scenarios are going to happen for billions, perhaps trillions, of years. We'll all be dead, buried and forgotten by then. Our species probably won't be around anymore. Insects will probably rule the world when the sun poofs out.

My non-technical, completely random guess would be the year 21000! My reason, (just as I said earlier) a random assumption and as to why/how - I would say a flood. I assume maybe by the sun, pollution or any of the countless other negative contributing factors out there that affect the polar ice caps. They will cause them to melt, thus engulfing us into yet another massive worldly flood.

The world will end, but not in the sense like everyone thinks as in blowing up or anything. It will just become a giant lifeless water-based planet, hovering endlessly in space. That is unless you are religious (which I myself am) and believe that God will not flood the Earth again as he promised. ...But hey... he could change his mind - he's God. Who is going to stop him!? Ha Ha! <:o)

existence is prepared matter, it takes power to maintain its complexity. existence will continuously pop up the position the circumstances enable. The solar will spoil the earth, and finally we are going to all get sucked into the massive black hollow interior the middle of the galaxy- each thing will provide up. yet some position else interior the universe, the position the circumstances will enable- matter will manage right into a complexity akin to what we adventure the following and now. existence in the international will be thoroughly destroyed finally, although if we get away our solar and bypass to some different image voltaic gadget, finally each thing will die. So human beings might want to provide up whining about 2012 and all that garbage- i love your question.

Not before 5,000,000,000 CE and probably even later when the Sun collapses into a red giant star and absorbs the inner planets.

Thanks to the pres of Iran that nobody wants to eliminate, it could be within the next 7-10 yrs. He currently is saying their 'mahdi' will return by spring(March equinox) and that means bloodshed and world chaos to him. They will try to attack Israel but will be sorely defeated, according to Scripture.
