What I can't get is these people REALLY DO THINK THEY CAN SING! And sadly their family and friends support them! I don't understand why someone would put themselves through that process, if they can't sing! And then when the judges don't accept them thru, they fall apart. And I believe some people just want to be on TV and then others love the show soooo much, they think being a big fan of the show means they can sing. WRONG! But the POSITIVE side of this statements is..... If it wasn't for those people who THINK they can sing.... we wouldn't be entertained with episodes such as last night! I love American Idol! I've been a faithful watcher and voter since Season 1 and will continue to watch it regardless.. But let me say ONE THING...... I KNOW I can't sing. I will never put myself thru that process, unless I was prepared to hear a rejection statement. AND even IF I did EVER try out for the show....I would not even sing..... I would just be so star struck and get autographs from the judges and Ryan of course!

I like the auditions the best. I don't see how some of the ones that the judges are laughing at can keep singing, or if they just edited the tapes to make it look like they are singing through all of the judges laughing at them. Red was quite interesting....

TOO FUNNY!..Did you see the girl with the bleached out white hair....terrible singer and brought her mom in that had jet black hair when they asked? They looked like twins...and to think she really thought she could sing...I love the first few episodes because these people should really be angry with the friends they have who told them " Yeah...you should try out....your great!!"

I thought Simon was kinda goofy for saying no to the last guy. He was good. Randy and Paula said yes though.
