i need a very good intro to start it off with any help would be great

How about using a small recorder and have a recording...

"Good morning Jim. The people in the audience know nothing about 401's and need your help. By the time they are in their 50's, it will be too late. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to educate the audience and make them see the importance of using their 401K. As usual, should you be caught or killed, the secretary will disevow any knowledge of your auctions. This tape will self destruct in..."
This is where you click off the tape and quickly toss it aside.

Just a fun way to start a speech. I've always found humor and silly movie tie in gimmicks are a great way to get people to listen a bit more.

Are you saying that 401ks are a bad thing?

I don't understand.

If you are saying that the time bomb is the future of Social Security,

Maybe start of by saying, "Picture a world where the elderly represent the highest percentage of homeless....." Due to the collapse of Social Security and the improper planning by today's youth.

I know I am stretching.

Most investment talks concentrate on what the future have to offer, but the people that need the information need to concentrate on what they need to do today.
