What do you look for in a manga/comic (plot, characters, artwork, script)?

i just can't pick one. i like the blend of everything in manga.

plot - unique story or plot with some surprises
characters - original yet familiar
artwork - authentic japanese style (but i like anything)
script - with meaning and easy to understand. also, it has to have some comedy in it!
