people make me feel like there is something wrong with me...cause im a lefty....whats so wrong about that?

We are special. Less than 11% of the population is left-handed. Scientist still do not know why.
Back in days of yore, anyone that was different was suspected of being in league with the devil. Today we call them politicians, but that's another story... Anyway, someone noticed that not everyone used their right hand for certain tasks and - wallah! - it became a bad thing to be left handed!
Can you believe they used to try to force lefties to use their right hand? Barbaric!
We now know that lefties are ambidextrious probably because they've had to use things that were designed for right handers. We also know that lefties are better with things that require imagination and creativity because they are right brain dominant.
Am I going to fast for you?
Just celebrate your being left handed! Without us half the keyboard wouldn't be there!

I have gotten that, too. I think it is from the olden days (like when I was a kid) when teachers were actually instructed to try and change a kid from left to right handed. Remember we are the only ones "in our right mind"! Also we do have the benefit of being forced to do many things right handed this being more flexible. How many righties can say that? I agree with the person who said we are "special" and that is a good special. I wouldn't change it for the world.

Most people are narrow minded enough that they think if your right handed, so is everyone else, and if your not there must be something wrong with you. I'm right handed but about 1/3 of the people I know are left handed. I learned a long time ago accept people for who they are, and embrace their differences.

I'M A LEFTY!!!! And I don't use lefty scissors either. My grandma asked my mom why she didn't tie my hand behind my back when I was younger....my mom said "because they don't do that anymore" but the only problem i have is peeling veggies with a knife.
