That's an oversimplification. The husband and wife are a team. And teammates help each other fulfill their individual roles. They can even take on the other's role temporarily if there is a need (like any good team mate).

Answer #1: It is the husband's responsiblity to provide for the family materially. If he needs help, his wife can help out.

It is the wife's responsiblity to care for the household. If she needs help (e.g. she's busy helping him do his job), he is obligated to help her.

SO, if both are working outside, BOTH must work at home.

Answer #2: Not exactly. He IS the head (not to be confused with the boss) of the household.

And he must be a kind and loving head, taking her needs and wants into consideration - and yielding whenever there is a matter of preference. But, he has the responsibility, accountability, and YES the authority in the family..

This arrangment has worked millions of times for thousands of years. Since the major deviation to families where everyone is in charge, the divorce rate has increased dramatically and children have suffered.

Depends on the guy really. I make more than enough money and have no need for a strong indipendent wymmin that gives me attidude. If the guy is broke he prolly should be the one to stay home, while the misses goes to work.

I think to a degree, yes. Im certainly not saying its right though.
Nowadays, it takes 2 incomes to keep a household going. If the woman is working as well, why should she be the primary cleaner/caregiver of the houshold? Its only fair that he helps out at home too.

my woman has higher standards of clenliness than i do!!!

when i was living alone

the house was a mess and i didnt care.

now if the house is a mess she tells me im being lazy!!!

but the way i see it. if she has high standards, then she should maintain them herself.

HA! You obviously haven't met my wife. If I started that crap, I'd have parts of me removed and kept in her purse as a trophy.

They should either help pay the rent, or clean and cook. If she works we both clean and cook its only fair.

what, do you think that the man should be the housekeeper and do what she tells him to do? get a backbone my limp-penised friend. more girls will like you. or is the cleaning done by mexican women and neither men or women listen to each other at all, they just litigate? men and women need to respect each other and listen to each other, but they are neither equal nor are they the same. get with the program and stop pretending that they are.
