Okay here's a guy's prespective - an incomplete list of things I do, regularly. And this is not to toot my own horn. But I frequently:

Cook meals because I like to; fill and run and empty the dishwasher; do 3X loads of laundry a week, including folding, putting away, and getting the lint off the dryer screen; vacuum (I figure I live here I might as well keep the place clean, even though we have a service that comes in 2X a month and really cleans up); dust (it just starts with the electronics - computer screens, plasma TVs, then expands somehow); give 30-60 minute foot massages with Juniper Breeze scented lotion from Bath & Body Works; back rub/scratch-fest virtually every night without exaggeration, and *never* ask for one back (I don't get one anyway so I quit asking years ago - I got one of those long wooden back scratchers instead); do not walk into the room, grab the remote and click SportsCenter but instead watch the LifeTime Movie for Women without b*tching and whining; go to the opera; go the ballet; go to all the goofy holiday parties without having to be dragged along; dress myself; know where my own socks, wallet, keys, etc. are without having to shout downstairs to ask mommie where my sh*t is (again I figure if no one was around I'd keep track of all my crap so what's the difference if I live with someone?); service the cars regularly; listen without offering a solution (you can usually just say, "You were right - she's a b*tch!" and be right); never pressure or beg for sex; buy flowers; write love notes on little cards; leave nice voice messages; remember birthday and anniversary; never buy appliances for Christmas; keep the pool and spa clean; trim all my nails and neck and package hair in private; stay sparkling clean; wear aftershave she selects; get a 'just for the heck of it' gift about once a month when I get paid; don't burp or fart when she's around.

Okay so that's the *start* of the list.

And for the past 12 years she has refused to have sex with me. She's seen a doctor - nothing is wrong - all levels are fine, nothing physical, no diseases, nothing. Been to counseling, alone and together. Counsleor sees no problems other than wifey's just not interested (this from someone who used to constantly f*ck like a hungry tiger). No kid or menopausal issues - all those answers and many more have been eliminated.
She says everything is fine and I am a good husband. (By the way I'm about ready to dump her - I am really sick of this.)

My point? Don't give me that "fill in the blank once" crapola.

You will see numerous, various answers to this blank.

The list can be 6 miles long and you still won't get any, or solve the relationship, or whatever. I honestly believe women frequently don't understand themselves or their own motives or examine what they want. No offense ladies but you are more whirlwind than algebra problem.

So even though the little cutesy Cosmo "Fill in the Blank" fun quiz is a hoot, it's not based in reality.

He is a great husband who does lots around the house. But he is one of those 'If I don't like it you'd know it' kind of guy so a compliment from him is basically silence. Just once I would love to hear 'Great meal' or 'You look nice today'.
